How to Use This Calculator
Find your lot in the left column, then read across to your trip length. Costs shown are based on the standard 2026 daily rate for each lot. Off-airport lots with an asterisk (*) use dynamic pricing — your actual rate may be lower if you book early or higher during peak periods. On-airport lots (Terminal Garage, Pikes Peak, Longs Peak, 61st & Peña, Premium Reserve) have fixed rates set by DIA.
Quick tip:To find the cheapest option for your trip, scan down the column for your number of days and look for the lowest price. For most trip lengths, Canopy open-air or 61st & Peña will show the lowest total cost.

About DIA Parking Rates in 2026
On-Airport Lots: Fixed Rates Set by DIA
DIA's own lots charge fixed, publicly posted rates (effective May 14, 2025):
- Short-term garage (Terminal) — $7/hr (first 30 min free), daily max $35. Best for pickups and drop-offs, not multi-day stays.
- Pikes Peak & Longs Peak shuttle lots — $10/day. Surface lots with free DIA shuttle service. Walk-in and reservation available.
- 61st & Peña Station — $8/day. DIA-operated park-and-ride with free A-Line commuter rail to the airport. No shuttle needed — the train runs directly to the terminal every 15 minutes.
- Premium Reserve — $45/day. Reserved, covered spaces near the Terminal Garage. Book in advance.
Off-Airport Lots: Dynamic Pricing
Off-airport lots use yield management — the same approach used by airlines and hotels. Rates change based on:
- How far in advance you book — Booking 3–4 weeks out typically yields the lowest rates. Last-minute bookings are priced at a premium.
- Season and demand — Summer (June–August), Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break see the highest rates. Mid-January and February tend to be the cheapest.
- Day of week — Weekend departures and returns are typically 10–20% more expensive than midweek.
The rates shown in the calculator above represent typical 2026 base rates. Check the lot's website directly for the current price on your specific travel dates.
How to Save on DIA Parking
- Book 2–4 weeks in advance — Off-airport lot rates are lowest when capacity is still ample. Waiting until the week of your trip can cost 30–50% more.
- Choose off-airport over on-airport — The free shuttle adds 10–15 minutes each way but saves $20–$25 per day compared to the Terminal Garage.
- Look for coupon codes — Most off-airport lots distribute discount codes through travel sites, email lists, and their own websites. A 10–15% code is common.
- Consider the 61st & Peña option — At $8/day with free A-Line rail to the terminal, this is the lowest-cost DIA-operated option for travelers with manageable luggage who don't mind the train.
- Avoid the Terminal Garage for multi-day stays — The convenience is real, but at $35/day it costs $175–$245 more than off-airport lots for a 7-day trip. The shuttle wait is typically under 10 minutes.
- Travel midweek if flexible — Tuesday and Wednesday departures and returns are typically priced lower than Friday–Sunday travel.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does parking cost at Denver Airport?
DIA parking ranges from $8/day (61st & Peña) to $45/day (Premium Reserve). Off-airport lots average $9–$15/day. For a 7-day trip, expect $56–$70 at off-airport lots vs. $245 at the Terminal Garage.
What is the cheapest parking at DIA?
61st & Peña station ($8/day) and Canopy Airport Parking open-air ($9/day) are the cheapest options. Both include free transport to the terminal — Canopy via shuttle, 61st & Peña via A-Line train.
Do off-airport lot prices change?
Yes. Off-airport lots use dynamic pricing. Rates fluctuate by demand, season, and booking lead time. The prices in the calculator above reflect typical 2026 rates. Book early for the lowest price — rates increase as availability decreases closer to your travel date.
Is the Terminal Garage worth the extra cost?
Only for 1–2 day stays where walking directly to the terminal saves significant time, or for business travelers with expense accounts. For 3+ day trips, off-airport lots save $75–$780+ depending on trip length — far more than the time saved avoiding a 10-minute shuttle.
Are on-airport DIA rates fixed or do they change?
DIA's on-airport rates are fixed and publicly posted: $10/day for Pikes Peak and Longs Peak, $8/day for 61st & Peña, $35/day max for the Terminal Garage, and $45/day for Premium Reserve (effective May 14, 2025). These rates do not change based on demand or booking date.
