- flydenver.com homepage widget — the airport's official estimate for each of the three DEN checkpoints (North, South, A-Bridge). Updated every few minutes from checkpoint sensors.
- MyTSA app — crowd-sourced recent waits from travelers who just went through. Great for catching sudden spikes.
- Airline app (United, Southwest, American) — many now show the live wait for their home concourse. United's app is particularly good for Concourse B.
Check at least two. If they disagree by more than 10 minutes, assume the higher number.

- Summer (mid-June through August): Weekday morning banks are consistently heavy. Afternoon thunderstorms cause cascading delays that push passengers back into the security line.
- Shoulder (late April–May, September–early November): Shortest average lines of the year. If your schedule is flexible, this is when to fly.
- Peak holidays: Thanksgiving Wednesday, the Friday before Christmas, Jan 2, and July 3 reliably deliver 45–75+ minute standard waits.

- Match your departure hour to the table above for a baseline estimate.
- Layer in the season adjustment (add 10–15 min if it is peak).
- Check live data 30 minutes before you leave home. Adjust if a source shows a spike.
- Add 15–20 minutes of buffer if you are parking off-airport and need to shuttle.
